Stephen James has 5 core values that we hope will define us as people and as a business. One of the values is Making a Difference. It has been exciting to see staff taking on this value as part of their everyday working life, and each dealership has initiated their own way of expressing the Making a Difference value.
Beyond Ourselves is one such expression - born out of a desire by Stephen James to use their business’ time, skill and profit to make a difference in the communities they find themselves a part of, and to encourage others to be generous with their lives too.
Beyond Ourselves is working in partnership with local Zambians, helping to build and develop community schools in the Copperbelt region of the country. They believe that with the help of this style of education, children’s futures will be bright and hopeful and those employed through the building and running of these schools will also benefit.
They offer the opportunity for people to get connected and involved in what they are a part of in Zambia; to help transform communities and change lives.
